Hi there,
I have a huge interest in DIYbio. I'm doing some traveling in Europe and am making an effort to visit different biohackerspaces. I've been involved in the Biospace of the Victoria Makerspace in Victoria, Canada. Last month, I helped Ellen Jorgensen put on an exhibit at the Science Gallery in Dublin, and I spent some time with Cathal Garvey in Cork, Ireland. Right now I'm in Berlin, where I've met some of the Berlin Biotinkerers.
I think it would be really neat to next visit you guys in Prague! Would this be a possibility?

Hi Noah, you're of course very welcome to visit the Brmlab Biolab (and Brmlab in general, the Biolab and the resident DIYBio group is a part of a large hackerspace). Just let us know in advance so we can be available when you'll be around :) We usually meet on tuesday evenings, but the hackerspace is open almost every evening. Here's more info about our location: http://brmlab.cz/place and about what we're up to: http://brmlab.cz/project/biolab
Looking forward to meeting you
chido

Hi Noah, I'm not based in Prague but I will be at 30c3, are you coming? It would be nice to have a chat, also I hope to put together small bio corner as part of the Food Hacking Base project, which is oriented on food&beverage hacking.

Hi Noah,
of course, you are welcome!
As chido mentioned, on Tuesday evenings there are official Brmlab meetups, Fridays are typically also good thanks to the long night :-), and there are often talk nights on Thursdays (please see the Brmlab event listi: https://brmlab.cz/event/start )
Best regards,
J. D.

Awesome! I hope to know in a couple days when you should be able to expect me, which might be as soon as this coming Tuesday (12/10), but I haven't bought a ticket or anything. Will keep you posted!

Hey,
Just got into town. If someone has a moment, to show me around the space tomorrow, that would be awesome. (Also, is the brm lab the kind of place you can just show up?) I'd love to hear what y'all are up to.

Hi,
unless something unexpected happens, I will be in brmlab at the evening - let's say at 19:00? Kyknos will be there probably as well, and chido if her school/work duties allow.
Yes, brmlab is a place you can just show up - many people do it, sometimes it brings interesting situations :-) If you come after 19:00, almost always there is someone there. But the building is complex and finding brmlab is a little tricky (the path is on the brmlab web page but it's a bit counterintuitive in 3D) so you may want to call brmphone (+420 608 801 582) or one of us (me: +420 732 605 313) to pick you up at the main entrance. (Or at the #brmlab IRC channel at freenode.)
Best regards,
Jiri Dluhos
