I am not sure how many people at Brmlab are interested in foodhacking, but aquaponics might be an interesting project. What is that? A plant-bed for vegetables (with lights in an indoor setting) connected (water circulation) with an aquarium for sushi :) You feed the sushi, sushi feed the plants, and you can eat both :) (In large scale, this can be commercially viable, but a small scale might be just fun + a way to get some high quality materials for foodhacking or even a small supply of fresh vegetables/meat for brmbar)).

well if you were in Holland, you could try the sushi with cannabis flavor, up to 4 plants :-)
as an experiment it sounds cool, I would recommend to keep it organic for the quality purposes. By the way the folk in H.A.C.K. in Budapest is running an aquarium with salamander for over a year and half, monitoring temperature etc. we could get in touch, salamander sushi yummy! :-)
