Hi all,
I will be flying to Tanzania in a month. As part of my trip, I will be teaching in local schools as well as help them set up a basic IT infrastructure. As you can imagine, these schools are not well funded and lacking hardware. Therefore, I am asking if any of you have some old computers (Rpi/sbc, laptops, tablets), peripherals (mice, keyboard, headphones, screens) and even networking equipment (AP, switch, cables) to give away. I will be checking the output buffer regularly but I would also appreciate if you could get in touch with me directly to make sure I don't miss out on anything useful.
I am also open for any suggestions regarding educational platforms, distros and software (preferably offline as internet is close to non-existent in certain areas there) if any of you have experience or ideas in this domain (kids are between 6 and 15 years old).
Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!
Best regards,
