Hello,
Sorry for writing in English, but I don't speak Czech (yet).
I've moved to Prague 6 months ago and I'm not a member of Brmlab; if
that counts, I've considered coming to visit the hackerspace, making a
donation and join.
To the point: I've read at [0] that organizations like hackerspaces
might have vouchers for the 33rd Chaos Communication Congress that
will be held in Hamburg on Dec 27-30.
Do you happen to have one that you don't use?
As it happens, vouchers are free of charge but that's not the reason I
am asking; today at 20:00 the first wave of presale open to the general
public started, and I was there hitting F5 from 20:10 to 21:45 but I
couldn't get a ticket. Now it appears to be sold out.
There will be two other presale openings in the next weeks [1], but if
it goes as today it's hard to get a ticket. Plus, the website CCC is
using is on github [2] and it appears people are using bots to get
places -- I'd prefer to avoid spending time to do that.
Thank you anyways!

Ahojte
Jak mozna nekteri vite, parkrat uz sme v labu diskutovali ideu zalozeni
brmlabiho CSIRTu, tedy Computer Security Incident Response Team.
"incident handling" v ramci sve infrastruktury, brmlab by mohl byt tim
kdo se vic orientuje na verejnost, osvetu, apod. V posledni dobe jsem se
venoval nejaky cas pripravam na pripadnou registraci BRM-CSIRT a pro
vyplneni registracni prihlasky a rozjeti nejakych aktivit potrebuji
vedet jaky typ aktivit hodlame v ramci CSIRTu delat. Nastudoval jsem si
kolem toho nejake materialy a prezvykal je do nasledujici prezentace:
https://brmlab.cz/_media/user/ruza/csirt.pdf
V ramci posledni TalkNight jsem pak totez odprezentoval, zaznam
prispevku je zde (mel by byt HTML5 kompatibilni):
http://nat.brmlab.cz/talks/lightning_talks/lt-2016-11/2016-11-03-can-i-haz-…
Ty z vas ktere zajima pocitacova bezpecnost bych rad timto oslovil a
pozadal aby si prosli vyse odkazovanou prezentaci a pokud mate zajem o
cinnosti v nektere z oblasti aby ste mi napsali email o jakou oblast
mate zajem. Na zaklade vasi odezvy budu vyplnovat prihlasku k registraci.
Projekt uz ma i svou stranku zatim smerujici na stranku projektu na
brmwiki https://csirt.brmlab.cz
Zajemci hlaste se!

Zerocash system.
The first two lectures are scheduled:
Tuesday 8.11. - 15:40-17:20 in S4
Thursday 10.11. - 14:00-15:40 is S11
All are welcome,

Title: Recent developments in Zero-Knowledge proofs
Speaker: Ariel Gabizon (Zcash)
Abstract:
Loosely speaking, Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs enable one to prove possession of
certain information without leaking that information; for example, one could
prove that he knows the factors p,q of the number n=p*q, without revealing any
information on p and q beyond the fact that their product is n.
Until recently, ZK proofs were considered too inefficient and complex to be
used for most practical applications. In this short course (I estimate 3-4
meetings), we will review the breakthrough work of Gennaro, Gentry, Parno and
Raykova titled "Quadratic Span Programs and Succinct NIZKs without PCPs" and
the subsequently developed Pinocchio Protocol that paved way for the use of ZK
in practice.
We will begin by informally describing how these proofs are used in the
Zerocash anonymous electronic payment system; which started as an academic
project, but has recently been deployed as a real-world cryptocurrency called
Zcash https://z.cash/
