Festival otevřených dílen + Maker Faire Prague 2022

Ahoj, pred casom sme dostali pozvanku na festival otvorenych dielni a makerfaire, ale pozeram ze to nepreslo na mailinglist. Preposielam. Ja by som tam za brmlab rad isiel pozriet, ale asi nie uplne sam, pridal by sa niekto? n. ----- Krásný den do Brmlabu! Když jsme se bavili o vaší účasti na letní verzi Festivalu otevřených dílen, nakonec to neklaplo. A dalo by se říct, že jste měli vlastně kliku... Bylo opravdu velké vedro a byl to poněkud náročnější ročník (zatracené globální oteplování...). Každopádně jsem slíbil, že se ozvu s dalším termínem. A jak jsem slíbil tak činím. Pište si do diářů - další Festival otevřených dílen proběhne v doufejme chladnějších (ale snad ne zas až moc chladných) podmínkách v sobotu 15. října. Podzim bude letos celkově rušný. Měsíc před Festivalem, tedy o víkendu 17. - 18. září totiž proběhne další velká kutilská událost - Maker Faire Prague (přihlášky do 18. srpna ZDE [1]). Organizátoři MF mě poprosili, abych jim trochu pomohl ho s vámi komunikovat. S radostí jsem souhlasil. Je to skvělá akce. Tady by tento mail mohl končit. V této fázi jsou data k zapsání do diáře to nejdůležitější. Pokud už teď víte, že s tou či onou akcí na tuty počítáte, nebo naopak, že ji nezvládnete, dejte vědět. Níže ale pro sichr přidám pár detailů. FESTIVAL OTEVŘENÝCH DÍLEN Vše při starém, sobota 15. října od 13 do 18 hodin (příjezd nejpozději ve 12). Stánky, lidé, řeka... Za sebe mám pocit, že se formát takto (až na výkyvy počasí samozřejmě) osvědčil. Pokud to vidíte jinak, určitě mi napište, co zlepšit. Mým hlavním cílem je, abyste se u nás cítili dobře. MAKER FAIRE PRAGUE 2022 Asi taky nemusím představovat, prostě parádní přehlídka vynálezů, inovací a kreativity obecně (vše mají na stránkách [2] a na Facebooku [3]). Organizátoři by letos dali sdíleným dílnám trochu větší pozornost. Uvažují například o oddělené sekci přímo pro ně. I proto mě poprosili, abych zjistil, jestli tam plánujete být. Co je důležité, že je třeba se přihlásit do 18. srpna přes tyto stránky [1]. Termín se sice nejspíš bude jako každý rok prodlužovat, ale kdo to stihne do18. srpna, tak může vyhrát do svojí dílny 3D tiskárnu. A to se vyplatí :D Ještě se jak stran Festivalu tak stran MF určitě ozvu. [Lost&Found] Lenovo USB-C charger

I misplaced my Laptop's USB-C charger and the last time I remember having it was when I was visiting the lab on the 26th of July. If anyone comes across it I would hugely appreciate if you could put it somewhere and let me know where I can retrieve it. Ahoj, nevíte někdo o nějaké poli ve blízkosti Prahy kde se smí odstartovat modely raket podobné tohodle https://www.astramodel.cz/cz/katalog/estes/estes-super-neon-kit-p10263.html ideálně i se odpalovačem a pravidelné srazy vhodné pro 12ti letého kluka? Díky, Timothy

Project to make for BRMLab - Drawbot with automatic pen change

Hi everyone, Recently, I found the following video: https://youtu.be/virDtVVt2Xo The guy made a drawing plotter with automatic pen change as simple as possible. I was thinking it would be great to make something like this for our lab and put it to the Soc.Room for everybody who wants to play with it. Hi, thanks for the work. I totally agree, that the current state is chaotic an quite ineffective. I will be at the meetup today, and we can go through the things and check them physically. I thing, the main problems are: 1. Storage, nothing should be left on the ground. => build/enlarge new shelves? reorganize things? 2. Too many things, many of them not working => You already started working on that ( I also stare significantly on number of crap^H^H^H^Hvintage computer lying everywhere:) 3. Some... discipline when working with tools. For example if something breaks, send e-mail, etc... I am forwarding this to main brmlab mailinglist, so all people who are interestid can join the discussion. n.
