Dear Fellows from the BRMLab in Prague,

Some weeks ago i introduced you to the project me and my girlfriend are about to start: http://www.open-steps.org

We have defined our dates a bit more concretely and are expecting to arrive in Prag at the beginning of July, we have checked on your event calendar and thought about attending to the TalkNight on the 4th of July.

We would like to kindly propose you to present our project and maybe do a reduced Version (no more than 40min) of our Workshop "Visualizing open data to bring out global issues" , we have already submitted the application using the form but we just realized it was for the June event, please apologize us and consider our application for the July event.

We would be thankful if you somehow confirm us our participation in July.

Thanks in advance,

Alex Corbi

Subject: [Poptavka] Introduction of our Knowledge Sharing / Open Data

Dear BRMLAB-Staff,

My name is Alejandro Corbi, a spanish freelance software developer based
in Berlin, Germany since 2009. Together with my girlfriend i am
preparing the realisation of a non-profit project which you can find a
more detailed description about attached to this email and under the
following
URL:http://www.alexcorbi.com/pdf/project/project_dossier_workshop.pdf

Basically, our project consists on contacting and meeting
people/organisations that are actively working in the areas of Knowledge
Sharing and Open Data around the world. We want to document these
encounters and create an online plattform to showcase projects that
share the philosophy and goals behind these topics.

That's why we are contacting Hackerspaces along the countries we are
planing to visit in order to establish contact and study a possible
collaboration. We see Hackerspaces as the kind of places where the
Knowledge Sharing philosophy is represented at its best, and think it
would be perfect if we just could come visit you, meet you and document
what is going on in your space.

Also, in order to contribute ourselves we are offering to run a
workshop, in which we are teaching how to visualize Open Data using open
source tools. In case you feel like hosting it, we would feel really
grateful to do it, otherwise just meeting you would also be for sure a
nice experience.

I hope you like our idea and look forward to receiving your feedback, if
you have any questions regarding our project, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards,

Alex Corbi.
