Music Trackers: A Composition Workshop from SNES tunes to jungle + drum n bass with the Dirtywave m8 Tracker ( https://dirtywave.com/ ) Participants bring instruments and sound-making objects they wish to be samples Pascal explain the history of music Trackers from Japanese computer game music composers through to UK rave and dance music producers Explanation of the limitless possibilities of 'vertical composition', table functions, FM synthess and FX commands and finally a 'bring it all home' exercise in live composition of a finished piece we can all take home and show our bored mothers. Voilà.
