Dear friends!
We would like to invite the Brmlab hacker space to take part in the Positive Hack Days forum on practical security. The forum will be held in Moscow, Russia, on 23-24 of May 2013, and we will be glad, if hackers from other cities join the online transmission of the conference and participate in the online and onsite hacking challenges. The idea is similar to "No nerd left behind" of 28C3 or "Congress Everywhere" of 29C3, so we hope that PHDays could be also interesting for you.
PHDays Everywhere participants will be able to:
∙ Join the audience through the internet HD-broadcast (English and Russian languages). We expect 2 000 visitors in 2013 on-site, including key players in the security industry, international experts on information security, and world-renowned hackers.
∙ Participate in discussions and ask questions of the speakers coming online. Among the speakers at PHDays in 2013: Travis Goodspeed, Donato Ferrante and Luigi Auriemma, Marc 'Van Hauser' Heuse, and many others. Some reports' descriptions can be found here: http://blog.phdays.com/2013/03/phdays-iii-call-for-papers-latest.html.
∙ Take part in hacking challenges, to demonstrate their hacking skills and compete for prizes. Some hacking contests will be available online, while others will be available only for PHDays Everywhere participants. We will provide the participating hacker spaces with sets of software and contest scenarios, so you could organize your own battles.
If you want to organize an event based on the webcast of the PHDays at the Brmlab site, write to phd@ptsecurity.commailto:phd@ptsecurity.com. We will discuss the technical details, and put the information about the hacker space (address, description, logos, links, and contacts) for visitors on the PHDays web site.
