> hi folks -
>
> I've recently helped establish a new Public Engagement / Maker Residency
program through the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts here at
UIC in Chicago. I'm hoping you might help me spread the word - and/ or
perhaps even consider applying ~!
>
> We're offering 1 month or 3 month residencies. These are open to not just
artists - but also to community organizers, technologists, curators,
scholars, writers, urban agriculturalists, performers, system-thinkers,
food artists, game-makers, and any other category of ?creatives? who are
committed to exploring ways in which knowledge, Making, and outreach can
contribute to education and local community life.
>
> The residencies will be housed in two spacious, studio workspaces,
located in the very wonderful MANA Contemporary Art Center in the Pilsen
neighborhood of Chicago.
>
> Attached is the full description of the new program as well as the
application.
> Please do pass it along! - and feel free to contact me directly with any
questions.
>
> happy springtime,
